The founding members of NACHRP recognize that the protection of human research participants is an ongoing societal obligation. In light of recent changes, such as the deactivation of SACHRP in March 2025, we commit to sustaining ethical vigilance, fostering innovation in participant protections, anticipating future ethical challenges, and ensuring that the trust placed in the research enterprise is honored with transparency, respect, and integrity.

This Committee is not an official body of any governmental agency or academic institution and is volunteer driven. However, if funds are secured, a nominal honorarium may be provided to Committee members for their service.
