Mindy Reeter serves as the Director of the Office of Human Research Oversight (OHRO) at the University of Illinois College of Medicine, Peoria Campus (UICOMP). She oversees the UICOMP Institutional Review Board (IRB), which functions both as a University and Community IRB. The UICOMP IRB is the primary IRB of record for UICOMP, OSF HealthCare—a regional health system serving Illinois and Michigan—Carle Health’s Peoria, Proctor, and Pekin hospitals, and the Jim and Trudy Maloof St. Jude Midwest Affiliate. With 26 years of experience in human subjects protections, Mindy also contributed as a patient advocate during her service on the Secretary’s Advisory Committee on Human Research Protections (SACHRP)
